Telephone Number Practice
Use this printable to practice home telephone numbers, mom and dad's cell phone or work numbers and dialing 9-1-1.
Now added: a 10 digit telephone number template for folks in places like Florida.
Instructions:
- Print the template of your choice (below) plus the numbers template if you'll be using it.
- One "numbers template" should be enough to complete a few telephones (depending on how many duplicated numbers the phone numbers have).
- Have the children color in the telephone (if using the B&W version)
- Have the children cut out the telephone
- Have the children fill in their phone number in the bottom boxes in one of the following ways (from easiest to most difficult):
- Print the phone number into the boxes for the child. Have the children glue the corresponding number squares on top of the printed number.
- Leave the number squares blank and have the children glue the phone number onto the empty squares.
- Omit the numbers template and have the children print the phone number onto the empty squares.
Templates:
- Close the template window after printing to return to this screen.
- Set page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
You need one color or B&W template and one numbers template
Sarah from Florida filled me in that some people now have 10 digit telephone numbers! The first set of Templates is for the typical 7 digit telephone number and the second set is for the new 10 digit ones.
