Would I recommend this book? Yes, I think it is very good.
Suggested Age of Reader: 7+
Brief Summary (no spoilers): Sophie’s sister takes her toy gorilla, which makes Sophie angry. Then their mother says it is her sister’s turn, which makes Sophie even more angry. She is full of red rage. So, she runs and runs and runs.
What I liked/ didn’t like: I love how the book conveyed how Sophie was feeling through the artwork, it was really cool. I also liked the way Sophie calmed down, that would definitely help me.
What the book teaches you: How to express your emotions, and to have fun while reading!

Gardening: I like to think I have a green thumb, but it has a few brown speckles. My plants and I are working on it.
Animals: I adore my pets and they bring me so much joy, but oh, the chores! Why can’t they clean up after themselves?

I earned my degree back in the early '90s, and as a lifelong learner, I continue to delve into the things I love. This includes technology (though I struggle to keep up!), art, early childhood education, history, and mythology as it relates to sociology.
