Would I recommend this book? Yes, it is so good!
Suggested Age of Reader: 10+
Brief Summary (no spoilers): Darkness is afoot in the Wizarding World. The ministry is controlling Hogwarts by sending the worst Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher they have ever had to keep a watchful eye on the school. Worse yet, Voldemort is back, and the Ministry is in denial.
What I liked/ didn’t like: This book starts to get darker than the first 4 books, and I like that as the characters start to really come of age and stand up for themselves and what they believe in.
What the book teaches you: The importance of proper education, loyally, standing up for what is right, and to have fun while reading.
Additional Notes: If this sounds interesting, start with book one. Finished this book? On to book six!

Technology: I love how it connects us and makes things easier, but why does it have to change so quickly?
Trivia Nights: I'm your go-to person for fun facts, yet somehow, I always end up in second or third place. Frustrating!
Gardening: I like to think I have a green thumb, but it has a few brown speckles. My plants and I are working on it.
Animals: I adore my pets and they bring me so much joy, but oh, the chores! Why can’t they clean up after themselves?

I earned my degree back in the early '90s, and as a lifelong learner, I continue to delve into the things I love. This includes technology (though I struggle to keep up!), art, early childhood education, history, and mythology as it relates to sociology.
