Will this be indoors in a hall or outdoors in a "camp" like situation? They could make smores together (if not in N America - graham crackers, choc. bars & marshmallows). The dad's could be responsible for ptting in oven/fire or you could have one person collect them all, heat them in a child free zone and serve as a snack. You could end the activity with songs sung in a circle; these can be ones the children already know from school. Good luck
