<Return to school/daycare bulletin board suggestions>
The students colored spring flowers, robins, and butterflies. Once they were all colored we covered the bulletin board with sky blue paper. Next with brown and green paper from the art room we made a tree by scrunching and tearing the paper to make it textured and overlapping the top of the board for more height. Using small brown paper lunch sacks the students rolled them into the shape of a bird's nest.
The students picked the location on the tree to put their nest and
put their robin on the nest. Their flowers and butterflies were also put
on the board. Ironically, the Easter Bunny left grass and eggs in
each of their nests. This board can be used from now until the end
of school and adds a little sunshine and color on the rainy April days.
