Here's another bulletin board idea for Fall. I used a pre-made scarecrow and added him to a cornfield. The corn cobs were made by the children in my class. We cut a corn cob shape out of yellow construction paper then the husk was cut from green tissue paper and glued onto the corn cob. The children glued a few kernels of unpopped popcorn to the cob and a bit of excelsior at the top of the cob to resemble the corn silk. Corn stalks were made from green bulletin board paper cut into long leaf shapes and attached only part way so the top would curl over like a cornstalk. Wren K-3 Teacher
